Hill College Insurance Information
Hill College provides insurance to assist with the medical expenses incurred from injuries that result from direct participation in a Hill College sanctioned athletic event for all student-athletes who have completed the medical paperwork and been cleared prior to participating in any Hill College Athletics practice, scrimmage, or game. This insurance primarily acts as secondary coverage to cover expenses that are not paid by an athlete's personal health insurance. Specific details are included in the attached documents. In order for an athlete to utilize the Hill College Athletics insurance policy, injuries must be reported to the Hill College athletic trainer and all medical visits must be coordinated through the Hill College athletic trainer. Failure to do so including going to a medical visit on your own or not reporting your injury will void your ability to use the this policy. All injuries resulting through participating in a Hill College Athletics practice, scrimmage, or game must be reported to the Hill College athletic trainer whether utilization of the Hill College insurance policy is needed or not.
