Mental Health Awareness
Hill College and Hill College Athletics take student-athlete mental health and well-being seriously. The attached document is the athletics department's mental health information, emergency action plan, and screening tools. This document can be utilized for general mental health information, what to do in a mental health crisis/emergency, and has screening tools for specific mental health-related conditions. It is not a fillable document and is merely informational, but the fillable document is a part of the annual Hill College Athletics medical clearance process and is readily available in your SportsWare Account under the Notices and Handbooks section when you first log in, should you want to access it at any time. The following link is also a part of the Hill College website for general health information, including mental health resources for all Hill College personnel, including students: https://www.hillcollege.edu/Safety/HealthWellness.html
Hill College provides many resources for mental health and well-being, but the biggest part in obtaining help is seeking help. To seek help, contact your coach or the Hill College athletic trainer.
Access the Hill College Athletics Mental Health Information, Emergency Response, and Screening form here: Mental Health Awareness Screening.
(The above is for informational purposes only. You will initially complete the screening forms as part of completing your online SportsWare account form annually. Blank forms are always accessible under the Handbooks and Notices section of your SportsWare account if and when needed.)
