Dinsmore has earned a handful of accolades over his career as an athletic trainer including the Hill College Presidential Commendation assisting with the school’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic including planning, implementing and coordinating the athletic department’s plan to return to campus and continue competition. This plan was implemented by the NJCAA as a best practices document for other schools in planning their return to competition. Dinsmore was also inducted into the East Texas State/Texas A&M-Commerce Athletic Hall of Fame from his work as a student trainer with the 1996 NCAA Division II Elite 8 Finalist Men’s Basketball Team.
