Although the Hill College men’s basketball 2023-24 season didn’t turn out like Head Coach Swede Trenkle and his student-athletes had hoped it would, the Rebels still managed to win four North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference games along with a 13-16 overall record.
Although the Hill College men’s basketball team ended its first round of conference play Monday sitting a few games outside a potential fourth-place playoff spot, Head Coach Swede Trenkle said the conference remains wide open during the second half of the season.
A combination of both youth and talent helped carry the 2022-23 Hill College men’s basketball program into another winning season and yet its second consecutive postseason appearance in as many years.
Twenty-nine Hill College student-athletes were named to the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) All-Academic Team.
