Bio
Luis Garcia, a native of Stephenville, Texas, begins his first year as women’s assistant soccer coach at Hill College.
 
Garcia is a 2014 graduate of Stephenville High School, where he was a four-year varsity soccer letterman. He then attended Ranger College where he earned his Associate in Science in 2016. Garcia furthered his education at Tarleton State University earning his Bachelor’s in General Studies in 2018 and a Master’s Degree in Sport Administration in December 2022.
 
Garcia began his coaching career as a graduate assistant soccer coach for the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain (NJCAA D1), in the fall of 2022.
 
During his time at UARM, Garcia assisted both the men’s and women’s soccer programs, handling almost all duties on and off the field. Garcia managed team travel during the season, day-to-day coaching, recruiting, goalkeepers, and ran the off-season program.
 
Garcia helped guide both programs to the NJCAA D1 Region 2 Tournament during the 2022 and 2025 seasons. In 2022, the men’s program reached the Region 2 Championship and finished as Region 2 runners-up. In 2025, both the men’s and women’s programs reached the Region 2 Semi-finals. The women’s team ended the season with its best season in school history with a 12-2-2 overall record.
